Intention of Balance

Pulling cards for the collective from the Tree Angel Oracle Deck - For the highest most expansive wellbeing of all - What does the collective need to know right now? What needs to be clarified?

tree oracle deck facing down, two cards facing up - left is 14 Field Maple - right is 2 Walnut. Field Maple is a spirit on the ground cross-legged with sparkles coming from hands into the earth and throughout the leaves. Walnut is a standing feminine tree holding a triangle shape with different layers of a walnut fruit at each corner

The first card is. Field Maple, number 14.

14 Field Maple is a spirit on the ground cross-legged with sparkles coming from hands into the earth and throughout the leaves.

I get this really grounded energy. It literally feels like it's sitting on the forest floor. It's funny we think of trees as standing up, but what if they were actually sitting down or lying down haha...funny thought.

Anyhow, the first feeling I get to is the reminder of the magic of Earth energy. When was the last time you connected to the raw earth? Put your hand on the grass, or just sat under a tree?

Let's see what the guidebook has to say...

The Field Maple teaches us to serve without expecting reward or recognition. "We simply do what needs to be done because work is love made manifest. The person who brings themselves into resonance with the Field Maple starts to demonstrate qualities such as foresight, honesty, reliability, common sense, efficiency, and good organizational abilities among many others."

Yeah this really feels like having your energy right-sized with the Earth. Making sure you are tending to what you need to be tending to, which involves checking in more to make sure. So it might mean making a point to check in more.

The second card - Walnut number 2.

2 Walnut is a standing feminine tree holding a triangle shape with different layers of a walnut fruit at each corner.

It's funny this has an image of a triangle but it's a number 2. Might be some contradiction we're feeling about this message. I get this Earth Mother" energy and a little bit of a balance theme but from more of a spiritual or angelic place. Whereas Field Maple felt more like an animist kind of energy - to connect with all that has spirit. Walnut feels more like an angelic or a Goddess energy to me.

Yeah, there's really a balance to who you are on the outside and who you are on the inside and the different levels of protection we have for ourselves really. We can't always be our most vulnerable selves all the time. AND protection that is sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves in the moment.

Take a moment to acknowledge that balance that is at play. It's okay to feel that movement and difference between the different versions of yourself and what you may need to do to feel safe at any phase.

"Walnut is one of Earth's ancient mothers because of the nourishment it provides. Of course the Walnut nourishes us in a material sense through its fruit but it's spiritual gift is wisdom. Coming into accord with the Walnut angel strengthens our foresight, understanding, sensitivity, and ability to empathize. This creates a healthy foundation for our powers of judgement and sense of justice."

This card is also referencing a balance or at least an acknowledged sense of balance for energy. We aren't just behaving un-checked we need to be intending balance. When we're not intending balance it causes "quarreling" but like an energetic conflict.

It's really tough to say because it also takes violence to get to that inner walnut meat. So our sense of balance is not necessarily defined concretely or defined properly by our cultural norms.

To be in right relationship with judgement and a sense of justice really means to be in balance with all that is. Sometimes that's waiting. Sometimes that's acting.

Wrapping up it seems like extra heavy attention to grounding into nature, the earth. When there's a lot of disruption these questions come up: where are you centering your self? Where are you getting your baseline from? What are you aligning with?

Only "good" i.e. generative things come with checking in with Earth and nature and all that is. We can't control everything so there's at least one other thing that exists that controls some thing else - the things we can't control. We can't balance forever on your own (and that framework of balance is inherently flawed).

You might be feeling what you think is balance. But checking in can reveal the imbalances we put up with. It sort of like the threshold for pain tolerance or discomfort. Find what all this means for you. You might need to go on a walk alone. Journal. Aquarius bring Air which is a great time for expressing as well as connecting socially. Honesty is brave. Authenticity is healing.

With an intention of balance.

Intend that this is all for healing.

And so it is.
